Dear Parents
As we begin our second week with the vast majority of our children at home it sadly looks likely that the current arrangements will continue for the foreseeable future. It is important that you are not made to feel as if you should be your child's teacher although we appreciate all the support that you continue to give. Your children's teachers will use the school jotter app to communicate with you as a class and inform you of any activities that they would like the children to do on top of the work that has already been set. Reading books on the online bug club can be loaded once children have completed their allocation but their primary concern is to keep your child happy and positive as we will eventually return to school. The teachers have arranged to send a weekly message using the school jotter app. If any of your friends have not downloaded the app please encourage them to do so as it will keep them up to date with any school developments.
Thank you to everyone who continues to observe the advice given to us. It will undoubtedly have a positive impact for all of us in the long run. If you have any issues school can be contacted from 8.00am-10.00am via telephone or by email throughout the day.
Stay safe and well and we will all return when it is safe to do so.
Yours sincerely
Mr MacAreavy - Headteacher
