Dear Parents

We shall be celebrating Ash Wednesday this week and Fr Grant has asked that our Year 6 children from both schools attend a special mass tomorrow morning Tuesday 25th February at 9.00am.  The children will receive a special blessing which will then allow them to come back to school and administer the Ashes to the rest of our children on Wednesday morning.  This is a lovely idea which deepens the children's understanding through participation.  Fr Grant has asked that the Year 6 children are dropped off at St Gregory's Church at 9.00am.  We shall return to school with the teachers on foot so please make sure your child has a decent coat.  Children in Year 6 who attend breakfast club shall be transported using the school mini bus.
