Dear parents/carers,

We are excited to announce that our school will be holding VE Day celebrations on Thursday 8th May to commemorate Victory in Europe Day and to help our students learn about this important moment in history.

As part of our celebrations, children are invited to dress up in red, white and blue. Alternatively, they may prefer to choose to wear vintage style outfits or accessories inspired by the 1940's if they wish. Year 1 children are also encouraged to dress up on this day instead of their usual PE kits.  Please ensure that clothing is comfortable and appropriate for school activities. 

The day will include themed lessons, activities and a small celebration to mark the occasion.
