English - Children have brought home a sheet with lots of different words, covering some of the sounds they have been looking at over the past few months. Some words are real words and some are alien words. Children are to segment each of the words and blend them together when reading. They may put sound buttons underneath each sound to help them.

Maths - The children have started to look at place value of numbers to 50. Below is a link to a game which helps the children count how many tens and ones they see and then select the number. Once you have pressed the link, select the tab that says numbers up to 49.
