Dear Parents and Carers

A final reminder for our arrangements for the children's First Holy Communion celebration Mass.  Fr Grant will begin the Mass at 10.30am and you are asked to arrive shortly after 10.00am, as Mrs Stockwell will be happy to take family photos before you enter Church. 

Can I remind the parents of the boys that it has been the tradition of our school for over 40 years that they wear school grey trousers and shoes with a white shirt with the special sash and tie that they will received today.  It is important that these traditions are maintained, however, if you have made other arrangements with regards to clothing it would be appropriate for these to be worn at family celebrations whether at home or at a pre arranged venue.  School has always tried to support parents with keeping costs to a minimum and focusing our attention on the receiving of this important Sacrament. 

I am sure that Fr Grant and the teachers will look forward to seeing the children and helping them to make this day as special as possible whilst maintaining the importance of creating a reverend and appropriate atmosphere within the Church. 

Please remember you are most welcome to return to school after the Mass for an Official photograph.
