English - The children have now completed phase 5 in their phonics and so now it is time to revise and consolidate everything they have learned. Below you will find a link to a Phonics Play website. Here you can select the sounds you wish and play the game Obb and Bob, feeding the aliens real and alien words. You can choose form any phase 3, 4 or 5. But the idea is plenty of practice to help the children blend the sounds together.

Maths - This week, the children have been practicing counting forwards and backwards to 50. Encourage them to do plenty of counting over the weekend, especially backwards as this is more tricky.
