Secondary School Admissions 2022

The closing date for applications to be submitted by the parents/carers of Year 6 children for Secondary School Admissions in September 2022 is 31 October 2021.  In these circumstances it would be appreciated if you could please send out a reminder to all your Year 6 parents/carers to get their applications to us by that date.

More than 2000 Sefton residents have already submitted their applications using the online Citizen Portal, but there are still quite a number outstanding.  Late applicants can miss out on places at their preferred schools which is why we encourage all parents/carers to submit on time applications.

Parents should visit our website www.sefton.gov.uk/admissions where they can register on the Citizen Portal and then make and submit their application.  Before the closing date of 31st October 2021.

If any parent/carer is having issues with the online application our contact details are on the website and they should contact us for further assistance.
