Dear Parents and Carers

The parents evening appointments have been moved and will now take place from Monday 16th November until Thursday 3rd December. Teachers will give your child a parent evening appointment letter when we return on Monday 9th November. Can I thank you for your continued support and comments which have been shared with the teachers.

With latest national developments I feel even more confident that our decision this week was the right one and I hope that it continues to help keep our school community safe. Thank you for the donations to our school foodbank which many of you brought to school last week. Some of this has been distributed to a number of foodbanks in Sefton. It is my intention that this will continue and if anybody would like to make a donation of food items and other essentials you would be most welcome. The school gate will be open each day for you. Once again if you know of anyone who might benefit please just turn up and take what is needed.

I have also received a number of free made Christmas Shoe Boxes which I know many of you support. I appreciate that this will be extremely difficult but I shall leave them in the school foyer and if you would like one for your child to fill, please take one. I do hope that this week is soon over and it looks like the weather may be a little kinder. I shall be in school from 7.00am onwards if I can be of any help.
