Dear Parents and Carers

As we prepare for the first phase of our return to school which at the moment will take place on Monday 1st June for Reception, Year 1 & 6, I have little to add from Fridays update other than we are arranging our classes PPE and cleaning equipment to minimise any unnecessary movement within groups which will of course maximise everyone's safety.  Thank you for returning your intention information and if you have not emailed Mrs Greenwood at admin.stjohnbosco@schools.sefton.gov.uk please can you do so as the accuracy of our returning numbers will improve the quality of our provision.  It is our intention to send you our preparation and class plans this Wednesday which should answer any questions and give you clear instruction of how you should bring your child to school and the schools plans for their school day.  Can I remind you for your own planning that apart from Key workers and vulnerable children, school will be open Monday - Thursday with Friday reserved for cleaning and planning.  When all year groups return in order to ensure that classes remain less than 15 we shall split the year groups into 2 with children allocated a week one or a week two place.  Classes will then be welcomed into school on alternate weeks which should mean that most children will receive two weeks in a classroom environment. 

As I have said I hope our plans are clear for you all, however I remain in school should you need to contact me.  It is our intention that the school will be closed for all children on Monday 25th May I hope that you remain safe and well and please pass on my best wishes to your children who I miss a great deal.
