  The children have had a great week and have settled into their new Year 2 class.
  
  The children will be set homework each week. Details of their homework for week ending 12th September 2025 are attached. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

  We are in the process of trialing a new platform for maths homework. Please encourage your child to access the following and complete the online quiz.

  If you have any problems with this then please do let us know.
  
  Your child has also been given a new reading book, after reading with us. Reading records are to be signed and returned along with books every Thursday for changing.

  Year 3 Parent Update

  Parents of Year 3 children,
  
  Wow, what a wonderful start to the new academic year. I can already tell that we’re going to have a great year together.
  
  We are constantly seeking to improve our routines to better safeguard the children within our care. As a result, from Monday 8th September we will be going back to our previous arrangements of dismissing all year 3 children from the classroom door, this includes children who have been going down to their younger siblings’ classes. Not only does this mean all children will be leaving from the same exit but also that we can build better parent – teacher relationships with one another.
  
  Reminder
  In: Through the toilets so children can place their coats and bags straight into their lockers and come into class ready to learn.
  Out: One by one through the classroom door (Year 3 classroom, on the corner).
  
  *Please also see the following letter attachment which has been sent home with your child tonight and contains lots of class information.*
