  NSPCC Number Day - Friday, 7th February 2025

  Dear Parents/Careers
  
  On Friday 7th February 2025, along with other schools and educational settings across the country, we are taking part in Number Day again to raise much needed funds for the NSPCC. The children have already been asking if we are holding this event again, as they thoroughly enjoy dressing up and taking part in the activities that their teachers plan.
  
  We have attached a letter with all the details you will need. As you will see, we are taking part in 'Dress up for Digits.' Some dressing up ideas include:
  - Dress up as a dice/playing card/clock or another object with a number on it.
  - Dress up as someone who uses maths in their career.
  - Wear something with a number on it, eg sports kit.
  - Decorate an old t-shirt with numbers or representations of numbers.
  
  Mrs Greenwood has organised an IRIS ParentMail link to make donating very easy. This link is available to use from Monday, 20th January 2025.

  Parent Governor Election

  Dear Parents and Carers
  
  Please find attached information regarding a parent governor vacancy which has arisen as Mr Mulrooney has come to the end of his four year term.  I would like to thank Mr Mulrooney for his essential input to our governing board over his term, he has been an excellent parent governor supporting our school.
  
  If you require a paper copy, they will be available from the school office from Friday 10th January 2025.
  
  Nominations must be returned to the school office/Headteacher by 20th January 2025 closing time 12.00pm.

  After School Clubs - starting Monday 6th January 2025

  Dear Parents and Carers
  
  Please make sure that you have contacted the school office via email to ensure that your child has a place and has paid for their after school clubs starting on Monday 6th January.  Bookings need to be paid before your child starts the clubs.  I hope the children will enjoy the clubs we have for them this term, making sure that they are indoors due to the cold.  Please contact Mrs Boynton and Active Soccer directly for bookings.
